Implantación del compromiso “Aventura Segura”

Implementing the “Safe Adventure” commitment

UR Pirineos is firmly committed to dealing with the new risk of transmission caused by coronavirus leading the implementation of measures aimed at minimizing that risk.

We have carried out a thorough assessment of the risks due to non-compliance of the social distancing recommendations by authorities, the risks in confined spaces, and the risks of touching contaminated surfaces.

This assessment has been carried out point by point, considering every single work process, both within our facilities and during the development of the activities.

Identifying the critical points has allowed us to adapt our methodology and take effective measures to reduce the risk of transmitting COVID-19. This meticulous endeavour was undertaken by our working partners and checked by our staff.

We have developed a contingency plan that implies the following:

• Reorganizing administrative management so it can be done 100% online. Clients can complete all the steps before their arrival (booking, payment, statement of responsibility).
• Establishing new capacity and responsible use of facility protocols (hydroalcoholic gel or soap dispensers, waste bins with lid and pedal…).
• Developing thorough sanitizing procedures of the equipment used during the activities and the facilities, using biodegradable virucides which reflect our commitment with nature. Everything is cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis.
• Providing our clients with water repellent and antibacterial organic cotton face masks. The masks are hygienic, breathable, reusable and comply with UNE 0065-2020 and UNE-EN 14683:2019 health requirements. They are not “annoying” and protect all of us.
• Having an action protocol in case Covid-19 symptoms are identified in clients or staff – Adapting contracting conditions to possible cancellations due to quarantines or sickness.
• Training and protecting our staff to limit the risk of transmitting COVID-19.
• Adapting our security protocols in the case of an accident (for example, a client falling) to guaranty both our staff and clients take the appropriate prevention and health measures during the intervention of rescue services.

List of good practices

Before reaching our facilities, please:

– Be sensible and make all the necessary arrangements related to the online reservation.

– Do not attend if you show any symptoms (fever, dry cough, fatigue, and breathlessness), call us and we will apply our conditions.

– Arrive on time so it is easier to control the number of people in our facilities and avoid overcrowding.

– Come with a face mask, your bathing suit on, and leave everything you don’t need in your car or lodging.

In our facilities or during the activities it is important to:

– Respect social distancing.

– Wash your hands frequently.

– Don’t touch anything that is not yours or hasn’t been handed to you.

– Follow the instructions and guidelines of our staff at all times.

– Use sanitary protective equipment properly.

– Avoid any physical contact, touching or handling other client or worker’s things.

– Smile, have fun, and enjoy our activities!!!

It is extremely important to wear your face mask in our activities, since we cannot guarantee a 2-meter safety distance during the whole experience. We have antibacterial face masks which are made of organic cotton and waterproof. The face mask is made in Spain and has the CE-11385 certificate, issued by ITEL according to the UNE 0065:2020 standard equivalent to an FFP2. Clients can use one of our previously sanitized masks (according to the manufacturer’s indications) for free or buy a new one. It is a face mask with excellent breathability which is fairly comfortable to practice sports with and it maintains its properties under water. It is a small investment of 3€ per person which you can reuse to go to the swimming pool, the beach, or practice sports safely.
