CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT

From the confirmation of the reservation, the client expressly assumes all the present General Conditions. In the case that one person registers on behalf of another/s, they assume, on their behalf, each and every one of these General Conditions.

INFORMED CONSENT

In the field of active tourism and adventure sports, there is a potential risk inherent to their nature. The company’s accident rate is less than 0.5%. The most common injuries include minor bruises, ankle or knee sprains, dislocated shoulder, etc., and in some cases, fractures can occur. In an extremely rare percentage of 0.0005%, accidents can be more serious (vertebral fracture, drowning, etc.). The decision to participate in these activities implies that the participant accepts the inherent risk of the activity and should be based on an understanding of these realities.

1- All guides and technicians have the appropriate preparation and experience for the activity they carry out. It is mandatory to follow the instructions of the guides and monitors during the activity, as the safety of the activity largely depends on following their instructions and guidelines.

2- The activities offered are subject to the conditions of the environment in which they take place and the participants involved, so they may undergo changes before or even during the activity (weather conditions, sudden changes in water flow, participants’ physical problems, etc.). In the event of cancellation by UR Rafting SLL, the client will have the right to reschedule, replace with another activity of their choice, or receive a refund of the amount paid. If our sanitary area goes into confinement again and there is no free movement of citizens from other areas, resulting in our clients being unable to undertake their trip, the full amount of the advance payment will be refunded as the cancellation of the reservation will be made by the company (due to reasons beyond the company’s control that cannot incur other external compensations).

3- If the client decides to cancel for any other personal reason, the conditions described in the Cancellation section will apply.

4- The client has an obligation to inform if they have any physical or psychological incapacity, pregnancy, paraplegia, or cardiovascular diseases before contracting any activity. They also commit to not being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, and/or narcotics, as well as any other medication that may affect their reaction capacity.

5- It is essential to know how to swim to participate in water activities. The technical sheet of each activity specifies the necessary minimum conditions and ages to participate. Minors must have authorization or be accompanied by a responsible person. In any case, and especially for advanced-level activities, UR Rafting SLL may choose to carry out a prior test.

6- The client accepts the inherent risks derived from the activities and especially the measures taken for the prevention of COVID-19 transmission, and therefore, the physical, technical, and psychological requirements that must be met to participate.

7- UR Pirineos reserves the right to admission. The client is obliged to follow the instructions of the guides, always respect the environment and the other participants. Otherwise, the company reserves the right to refuse admission without the option of refunds to any client who does not comply with the prevention rules for the development of the activity(ies).

8- If the client is acting on behalf of a group, they undertake to send the informed consent and booking conditions information to their represented individuals.

9- Active Tourism Activities

UR Rafting SLL’s commitment begins with the contracted activity, so it is the client’s responsibility to arrange transportation to the facilities or to the starting point of the activity, if applicable. The contract and UR’s responsibility solely apply to the direct work of its technicians and the organization of the activity. The prices for adventure activities are per person and include the direct services offered by UR Rafting SLL, including VAT, for the indicated minimum group. The necessary individual and collective equipment are included in the price. Each technical sheet specifies the required equipment for each activity and program. UR Rafting SLL is a legally authorized Active Tourism company registered with the Directorate General of Aragon under registration TA-Z-13.

10- Linked Travel Services

External services related to adventure activities (accommodation, transportation, etc.) will be billed separately under the special regime of Travel Agencies as linked travel services. UR Rafting SLL is a legally authorized travel agency registered with the Directorate General of Aragon under registration CAA-321.

11- Deposits

To confirm a reservation, the client must pay at least 25% of the total amount or 50% of the total amount for groups of more than 15 people. The remaining amount will be paid at the base before the start of the first activity. Programs or activities with special characteristics that require modifying these percentages will be expressly stated in their specific conditions.

12-Cancellations

The client may withdraw from the requested or contracted services and is entitled to a refund of the amounts paid, but must compensate UR Rafting SLL as indicated below: management fees (15% of the total amount of the reservation, whether due to force majeure not attributable to the company or cancellation by the client), cancellation fees, if applicable, by an external provider duly justified, and a penalty consisting of 10% of the total amount of the reservation if the withdrawal is made between five and fifteen days, 20% of the total amount of the reservation if the withdrawal is made between four days and 24 hours, and 100% of the reservation within the last 24 hours. Failure to appear on the date and time indicated by UR Rafting SLL will require the client to pay the total amount of the reservation. In the case of cancellation due to medical reasons or essential needs (death, etc.), provided that the client provides the necessary justification, the company will offer the possibility to postpone the amount paid in the form of a voucher valid for one calendar year, deducting any duly justified cancellation fees, if applicable, by an external provider. If the client opts for cancelling the reservation, the conditions will apply.

13-Insurance

The price of the programs and activities includes assistance insurance with coverage for illness and accidents. Rental services for equipment (without a guide) do not include coverage under the assistance insurance. Accident Insurance: Policy No. 20190420371850 contracted with the insurance company SURNE MUTUA DE SEGUROS PENSIONES. UR Rafting SLL also has the corresponding Third-Party Liability Policy with coverage and amounts required by the regulatory decrees of the sector. Liability Insurance: Policy No. QP2019002733 contracted with the insurance company XL Insurance Company SE. Complete information about the conditions and coverage of the insurance policies is available to clients at the activity centers and will be sent by email upon request.
